SICK WTF12-3P2441 Sensor
SICK WTF12-3P2441 Sensor
Description:
The SICK WTF12-3P2441 is a compact W12 photoelectric proximity sensor designed for reliable foreground-suppressed object detection over a 30 mm to 500 mm range. It emits a visible red light at 640 nm, uses a five-turn potentiometer for precise range adjustment, and includes a 4-pin M12 connection suitable for standard industrial wiring. Operating from 10 to 30 V DC, the PNP switching output provides a discrete on/off signal for monitored targets, and the unit is delivered with two BEF-KH-W12 clamps for mounting. Sensing characteristics include a 30–500 mm adjustable range, a light spot of about 7 mm at 300 mm, and foreground suppression to improve reliability in cluttered backgrounds. The WTF12-3P2441 is rated for a long service life, with an average life of 100,000 hours at +25 °C and a safety-related MTTFd of approximately 810 years. Supplied as part no. 1041400, this sensor belongs to SICK’s W12 family and includes standard mounting accessories to simplify installation.
