Siemens 1XP8001-1/1024 Incremental Rotary Encoder

The Siemens 1XP8001-1/1024 incremental rotary encoder provides precise position and speed feedback for rotating machinery in industrial motion control.

It resolves 1024 pulses per revolution, runs on 10–30 VDC HTL, and outputs incremental A/B channels with an index pulse (Z); the output can be HTL, push-pull, or open-collector depending on configuration, with a 90° ±20% phase shift between channels.

Designed for rugged industrial environments, it carries an IP65–IP66 protection rating, uses a solid shaft, and draws up to about 200 mA; typical operating range is -20°C to +85°C, with some variants rated to +100°C.

Commonly used in CNC machines, servo motor systems, packaging equipment, and automated production lines, it integrates with Siemens SIMODRIVE, MASTERDRIVES, and SINAMICS control architectures.
