The TRX family comprises models TRX-2, TRX-2R, and TRX-2D: the TRX-2 and TRX-2R monitor one switch; the TRX-2D (dual TRX) can monitor two switches, for example a tamper switch and a waterflow switch, through a single unit. All variants mount directly to a 3½ inch deep double-gang electrical box, keeping field wiring neat and within easy reach. On-board DIP switches provide address and switch-type programming: positions 1–5 select the unique device address, while positions 6–9 identify the type of supervised switch. These interface modules are designed to work with Cerberus Pyrotronics fire-panel equipment, enabling supervision, status reporting, and basic diagnostics of the connected devices from the control panel. Typical applications include door contacts, tamper sensors, and other simple field devices that require reliable supervised feedback without a separate IO panel; the TRX-2D variant supports two independent supervised inputs from a single module, which can help reduce panel counts in small installations.
