Siemens 6ES7222-1EF22-0XA0 is an 8-channel isolated digital output EM 222 module for the SIMATIC S7-200 PLC family, designed to switch AC loads directly from the controller backplane. Each of the eight outputs can switch AC voltages in the 120–230 V range with a rated current of 0.5 A per channel, making it suitable for driving relays, lamps, or other AC loads in compact automation applications. The module is galvanically isolated from the backplane and other circuitry, improving safety and reducing interference between channels.
