Siemens 6SE7023-2ES87-2DC0 braking resistor for SINAMICS/SIMOVERT MasterDrives, designed in booksize format to dissipate braking energy in the DC link during regenerative braking. It is specified for DC link voltages from 510 to 620 V and provides a nominal resistance of 20 ohms with a braking power rating of 20 kW. The unit is used with Basic Line Module configurations in SINAMICS/SIMOVERT drive systems, and, in this variant, includes a connected shielded 1.5 mm² cable of 3 m length.
