SMAR FP302 BR-14160 Pressure Transducer
SMAR FP302 BR-14160 Pressure Transducer
Description:
The SMAR FP302 BR-14160 is a Foundation Fieldbus to pneumatic signal converter that translates a digital Fieldbus input into a proportional pneumatic output to drive a valve or actuator. It offers a 3-15 psi (0.2-1.0 kg/cm2) or 3-30 psi (0.2-2.1 kg/cm2) pneumatic output, driven by a Fieldbus input and powered from the bus: 9-32 Vdc with a typical quiescent current of 12 mA. Designed for Foundation Fieldbus networks, the FP302 provides flexible transfer functions with up to 20 Function Blocks instantiable and local configuration via a magnetic adjustment tool. The pneumatic supply range is 18-100 psi (1.24-7 kg/cm2), with output flow about 3.40 Nm3/h (2 scfm) at 18 psi, 6.80 Nm3/h (4 scfm) at 40 psi, and 15.30 Nm3/h (9 scfm) at 100 psi. It delivers 0.4% of span accuracy and can be mounted in any orientation; the enclosure is aluminum with low copper content and finish options including polyester paint or a 316 stainless variant. Operating conditions span −40 to 85°C and 0-100% RH. Weight is 1.8 kg without display and mounting hardware; an optional LCD display adds 0.13 kg, while a mounting bracket adds 0.60 kg. Mounting options include attaching to a 2" tube or securing to a wall or panel. Typical applications involve translating Foundation Fieldbus commands to pneumatic valve actuation in process automation, where precise, bus-powered pneumatic control is required and where an integrated fieldbus-to-pneumatic interface simplifies installation.
