Smar Fy301 Smart Valve Positioner

The Smar FY301 Smart Valve Positioner is a microprocessor-based device that converts a 4-20 mA control signal into a precise, 0–100% supply-air pressure to position single- or double-acting pneumatic actuators across globe, gate, diaphragm, pinch, or clamp valves, as well as rotary valves such as ball or butterfly. It supports 2-wire 4-20 mA input, with HART-enabled variants for remote configuration, and uses a non-contact Hall-effect sensor with a piezo flapper to provide fast, accurate valve positioning. The FY301 delivers an output capacity of 13.6 Nm3/h (8 SCFM) at 5.6 bar supply, requires a pressure supply of 1.4–7 bar (20–100 psi), and is built in weatherproof, explosion-proof, and intrinsically safe configurations with housing options in injected aluminum (polyester coating) or 316 stainless steel; nominal weight is 2.7 kg (2.8 kg with a digital display). Operating temperatures range from -40 to 85 C with 0–100% RH, and the device supports standard flow-characterization curves (linear, equal percentage, quick opening) plus a 16-point custom table, local adjustment, optional LCD indicator, Syscon/HART remote configuration, and valve-life diagnostics via SmarValid to aid preventive maintenance.
