Smart Vision Lights S75-LP Linear Polarizer

The S75-LP Linear Polarizer is a field-installable polarizing insert for Smart Vision Lights’ S75 Brick Light family, including S75, ODS75, SB75, ODSB75, and S75G2 models, designed to reduce glare from reflective surfaces. The kit uses a precision-cut polarizing film that sits in front of the light to block roughly 60% of non-aligned light while transmitting about 38–40% of the visible spectrum (400–700 nm), delivering linear polarization with a color-neutral gray appearance. The polarizer has a thickness of 0.030 inch (0.762 mm) and is specified for field installation in visible-wavelength lights; however, continuous operation with certain wavelengths (for example white or blue LEDs) can damage the polarizer, and UV or SWIR wavelengths require a special polarizer. Polarizing efficiency is reported at very high levels (around 99.98%), helping to suppress reflections without drastically altering color rendition. The polarizer is designed to fit directly with the S75 family and is compatible with related brick lights including ODS75, SB75, ODSB75, and S75G2, providing a straightforward means to improve image clarity on glossy or mirror-like surfaces without replacing the entire lighting assembly.
