The SOBL-200x150 LED Backlight Board by Smart Vision Lights is a bare, 24 V DC backlight panel with no housing, designed to provide diffuse, area-wide illumination behind a part for machine-vision imaging. It uses an integrated constant-current driver, so no external power module is required, and its compact 30 mm depth helps it fit into tight enclosures or behind compact fixtures. With an IP50 rating and continuous-mode operation, it delivers a steady white light output suitable for a wide range of materials and surface finishes. The SOBL family supports multiple active-area sizes, including 150x100, 150x150, 200x200, 300x150, 300x200, 300x300, and 450x450 mm, with custom sizes available on request—making 200x150 mm achievable for applications that require a rectangular footprint. This backlight is commonly used to improve camera contrast in tasks such as part presence verification, surface inspection, and defect detection by providing uniform illumination behind the object and enhancing edge and feature visibility.
