SMC MHZ2-25D is a 25 mm bore, two-finger, parallel-type pneumatic gripper designed for precise pick-and-place in compact automation cells. This double-acting device delivers a grip with an open width of 33.3 mm and a closed width of 19.3 mm, and offers a 14 mm opening/closing stroke. At 0.5 MPa, each finger provides 104 N internal holding force and 65 N external holding force, with maximum operating pressure of 0.7 MPa and a minimum of 0.1 MPa, while the non-lubricated design keeps maintenance minimal. It tolerates ambient temperatures from -10°C to 60°C and uses M5x0.8 input and exhaust ports, with two pneumatic connections. The unit weighs about 0.420 kg and measures about 102.7 mm in overall length. The MHZ2-25D supports up to 180 cycles per minute for high-speed operations and is part of SMC’s MHZ2 family, available in standard body options with the standard finger position and no integrated auto switch in this variant.
