SMC Corporation MIW20-20D2A Slider Guide Cylinder

SMC MIW20-20D2A is a two-finger slider-guide escapement cylinder designed to separate and feed individual parts on conveyors, vibratory feeders, magazines and hoppers. It uses a mechanically interlocking cam to sequentially operate two fingers while controlling air to the pistons for reliable part separation, and a floating mechanism allows easy replacement of the fingers. This double-acting unit features a 20 mm stroke and operates at 0.2–0.7 MPa with an ambient temperature range of -10 to 60 C. Three finger variations are available to tailor mounting surfaces on the fingers, providing flexible integration into a wide range of automation layouts.
