SMC MXS12-20A Slide Table Cylinder is an integrated air slide table that combines a 12 mm bore, double-acting cylinder with a built-in cross-roller guided worktable for precise, repeatable linear motion in a compact footprint. As part of the MXS series, it uses two small air cylinders to generate compact force and, via a dual-rod configuration, delivers twice the output of a conventional cylinder. A cross-roller guide provides high rigidity and smooth travel, making the unit well suited to precision assembly, electronics packaging, or pick-and-place tasks where short, repeatable strokes are required. The standard MXS family covers bores of 6, 8, 12, 16, 20, and 25 mm and strokes from 5 mm up to 150 mm depending on bore size, with options for stroke adjustment that extend, retract, or both in ranges of 0-5 mm, 0-15 mm, and 0-25 mm. The MXS12-20A inherits the series’ compact, lightweight construction and worktable integration, allowing fixtures to mount directly on the surface while maintaining repeatable positioning across cycles.
