The SMC NAV4000-N04-5GS Soft Start Up Valve is a compact, direct-operated pneumatic valve in the NAV4000/AV4000 family with a 1/2-inch port and 24 VDC operation. It is designed to gradually ramp pressure in pneumatic lines to minimize inrush and shock when actuating cylinders, and it provides two-position on/off control suitable for compact automation installations. In the NAV4000/AV4000 series, the 1/2-in nominal port handles working pressures from 0.2 to 1 MPa and delivers a Cv flow of about 3.6 to 4.49, enabling controlled start-up performance in a variety of pneumatic applications.
