SMC SY5240-5L0Z is a pilot-operated, five-port solenoid valve in the SY5000 series, designed for compact pneumatic control. It features a double-solenoid, base-mounted configuration with an aluminum body and five ports to route compressed air to and from actuators. Electrical entry is an L-type plug with a 300 mm lead wire, and the version includes a light indicator and surge-voltage suppressor (Z) for status indication and protection. Coil voltage options span common values, including 24 VDC, with additional DC and AC options available (3, 5, 6, 12, 24 VDC; 100, 110, 200, 220 VAC). The valve provides about 0.7 Cv of flow, enabling reliable actuation of connected pneumatic devices, at pressures up to 145 psi (roughly 1 MPa). Ambient and fluid temperatures are specified up to 50°C.
