SMC MGPM50-50 Industrial Magnetic Proximity Sensor

The SMC MGPM50-50 is a compact guided pneumatic cylinder with a 50 mm bore and a 50 mm stroke, designed for precise, guided linear motion in tight spaces. This MGPM-series configuration can be equipped with built-in proximity-switch options (example MGPM50-50Z-M9N) that provide a 3‑wire NPN output from a DC supply, typically within 5–28 V, and are delivered with a 0.5 m lead wire. The auto switch is mountable directly to the cylinder body without spacers, simplifying installation and reducing part count. For connections, the cylinder supports standard port threads, including M5×0.8 (Φ12–16) and Rc (Φ20–100). Suitable for automation tasks such as precision clamping, positioning, and transfer on compact assembly lines, packaging equipment, and material-handling systems, the MGPM50-50 offers a slim profile without sacrificing motion accuracy.
