SMC MGQM25-30 Compact Guide Cylinder Pneumatic Slide Bearing

The MGQM25-30 Compact Guide Cylinder from SMC is a double-acting pneumatic actuator with an integrated slide bearing that provides stable, non-rotating linear motion in a compact 25 mm bore and 30 mm stroke. The slide bearing (type M) uses a carbon steel alloy bearing to resist side loads and maintain precise guidance, while rubber end bumpers cushion each end of travel. This non-lubricated cylinder is designed for clean environments and can accommodate auto switches for position sensing. It accepts a maximum operating pressure of 1.0 MPa (proof pressure 1.5 MPa) and operates from –10°C to 60°C, with a piston speed range of 50–500 mm/s for bore sizes up to 63 mm (including 25 mm), and 50–400 mm/s for larger bores. Optional high-temperature variants (XB6) support operation up to 150°C. The MGQM line spans bore sizes from 12 to 100 mm, delivering space-saving, precise actuation suitable for applications such as automated stop/start functions, lightweight indexing, conveying stops, and compact pick-and-place setups where repeatable positioning and resistance to lateral load are critical.
