SMC MHF2-8D Low Profile Pneumatic Gripper With Auto Switches

SMC MHF2-8D is a compact, two-finger, low-profile pneumatic gripper designed for tight spaces. With an 8 mm bore and an 8 mm opening/closing stroke, it delivers about 19 N of gripping force and weighs roughly 65 g, making it suitable for precise, lightweight handling. This model can be ordered with auto switches—solid-state M8-3pin sensors (PNP, 0.5 m leads)—for integrated sensing, and it uses Rc or metric port threads to fit a range of manifolds, with dedicated grooves for sensor mounting. The MHF2-8D employs double-acting actuation and a fixed stroke, while its slim body reduces bending moments and enhances positional accuracy in small-part handling and pick-and-place tasks.
