The SMC MHF2-8D2 Pneumatic Gripper is a compact, low-profile two-finger gripper (double-acting) designed for precise, space-saving part handling in automated systems. It belongs to the MHF2 low-profile family, features an 8 mm bore, and delivers a 32 mm opening/closing stroke with a total weight around 120 g. The MHF2 family offers stroke variants of 8D (8 mm), 8D1 (16 mm), and 8D2 (32 mm); the MHF2-8D2 specifically provides the 32 mm stroke for greater reach within a small footprint. Each finger provides unobstructed capacity of 2.0 cm3 on the open side and 1.9 cm3 on the close side, enabling reliable handling of small, lightweight parts.
