SMC MHS3-25D is a rotary-style, three‑finger chuck gripper built as a parallel‑type air gripper for gripping round workpieces and loading or unloading them from machine-tool chucks. This 25 mm bore, double‑acting model features a 10 mm finger opening and 7 mm finger closure, delivering about 47 N internal holding force and 42 N external holding force, with a 3 mm stroke and an operating pressure range of 0.2–0.6 MPa (29–87 psi). The MHS3 family spans bore sizes from 16 to 125 mm, and its three fingers are designed to securely grasp spherical or cylindrical parts in automation, fixture loading, or chuck transfer tasks.
