SMC MHZ2-16C is a 16 mm bore, two-finger parallel air gripper designed for precise handling in compact automation cells. It uses a single-acting, normally closed (C) action and provides a 6 mm opening/closing stroke, with a weight of about 115 g. Built on a linear-guide platform for enhanced rigidity and accuracy, it features dustproof and dripproof construction with selectable dust cover material and can be ordered with up to two auto switches for sensing. Operating pressure ranges from 0.25 to 0.7 MPa, making it suitable for pick-and-place tasks in electronics assembly, packaging, and other small-part automation applications.
