SMC MHZL2-10D Pneumatic Cylinder Gripper Unit

SMC MHZL2-10D is a double-acting, two-finger parallel pneumatic gripper in the MHZL2 long-stroke family, designed for compact, reliable part handling in automation cells. It features a 10 mm bore, a 19.2 mm open width and 11.2 mm closed width, and an 8 mm opening/closing stroke to accommodate small workpieces. When operated at 0.5 MPa, it provides 11 N of gripping force at opening and 17 N at closing, with internal holding force of 17 N and external holding force of 11 N to secure parts during transfer. The unit weighs about 60 g, a lightweight choice for space-constrained installations. The parallel finger geometry supports stable, repeatable grasping of small parts, and the long-stroke design helps accommodate parts with minor positional variation.
