SMC MHZL2-10D Pneumatic Gripper

The SMC MHZL2-10D is a double-acting, long-stroke two-finger parallel air gripper in the MHZL2 family, built for compact, repeatable gripping of small parts in automated equipment. Its long-stroke design yields a jaw travel with an open width of 19.2 mm and a closed width of 11.2 mm, enabling reliable grasping across a narrow part size range. The two fingers move in parallel to secure parts with even load distribution, reducing tilt and helping maintain alignment throughout pick-and-place cycles. The MHZL2-10D provides 17 N of internal holding force and 11 N of external holding force, delivering stable retention during motion and precise release at the target. This configuration is well-suited for lightweight automation tasks where a slim, parallel-grip profile is advantageous in restricted-space workcells and fixtures.
