SMC MSQB50A-XN Rotary Table Rack and Pinion System
SMC MSQB50A-XN Rotary Table Rack and Pinion System
Description:
SMC MSQB50A-XN is a rack-and-pinion rotary table that merges a fixed load-bearing table with a compact rotary actuator for precise, repeatable indexing in automation cells. Part of the MSQ rotary table family, this basic MSQB variant (Suffix A: With Adjustment Bolt) offers easy alignment when mounting loads and the body, and provides a choice of absorber options (built-in shock absorber or external absorber) to manage impact and energy during cycling. With body size 50 and end-port type NPT 1/8, it accepts standard pneumatic connections for compact integration. The rotation range is 0 to 190 degrees, enabling precise positioning of parts on the table for pick-and-place, assembly indexing, or fixture relocation. The bore diameter is 2 in (about 50.8 mm), and maximum operating pressure is 1 MPa (approximately 145 psi), suitable for typical industrial pneumatic duty cycles. The MSQB50A-XN uses an internal rack-and-pinion mechanism to drive rotation, and is configured as a basic rotary table without an auto-switch on this variant; optional sensing or magnet options are available on other MSQ/MSQB configurations. Typical applications include orientation and transfer of small parts in automated lines, fixture indexing, and production workflows requiring compact footprint and repeatable angular positioning.
