SMC NASS300-N02 Slow Start Safety Speed Control Valve is a Safety Speed Control Valve (SSC) in SMC’s ASS series, engineered to prevent abrupt actuator movement by gradually increasing air pressure to a preset level before full cylinder actuation. It supports both meter-in and meter-out control styles, uses compressed air as the working fluid, and is offered in four body sizes to fit different actuator capacities. The N02 variant is listed with a setting pressure range of 0.1–0.5 MPa (14.5–72.5 psi), while related ASS300 models are described with a maximum operating pressure near 0.7 MPa (101 psi).
