SMC NAV4000-N04-5DZB Pneumatic Soft Start Valve

SMC NAV4000-N04-5DZB Soft Start-Up Valve is a direct-operated pneumatic valve that gradually ramps pressure to a load, minimizing surge during actuator start-up. It features a 24 VDC coil and 1/2 in NPT ports, and comes with an indicator light plus surge-voltage suppressor for electrical visibility and protection. The NAV4000 family specifies an operating pressure range of 0.2 to 1 MPa and a Cv flow of 3.6/4.49, housed in an aluminum body with nitrile seals for durability in industrial environments. The valve is two-position, weighs about 1.63 kg, and measures roughly 153 mm long, 52 mm wide, and 147 mm high. It is intended for dry-air service with lubrication not required, and its operating temperature range is 32 to 140°C. Typical applications include feeding pneumatic cylinders, grippers, and other actuators in automation lines where controlled sequencing and reduced pressure spikes are essential.
