SMC NVFS3100-5FZ Valve

SMC NVFS3100-5FZ is a 5-port, two-position pilot-operated solenoid valve from the VFS3100 family, featuring an aluminum body and metal-seal construction for durable, leak-tight pneumatic control. This plug-in valve is designed for modular automation and can be mounted on SMC VV5FS manifold bases; when paired with a control unit in plug-in configurations, it typically requires two mounting stations on the manifold. The coil is 24 VDC, enabling straightforward integration with standard control electronics. A variant, the VFS3100-5FZ-Q, is rated up to 1 MPa and provides about 1.4 Cv flow, making it suitable for higher-pressure or higher-demand applications. In normal operation, the NVFS3100-5FZ directs compressed air between ports to actuate cylinders or vacuum devices within compact automation cells, delivering reliable actuation with SMC’s precision tolerances and metal-seal performance.
