SMC SY5100-5Z1 is a compact 5-port, 2-position single-solenoid valve from the SY5000 series, base-mounted and plug-in type, operated by a 24 VDC coil with Rc-thread ports and internal pilot. It supports an operating pressure range of 0.15–0.7 MPa (22–101 psi), delivers flow up to 1.0 Cv, and can actuate cylinders up to Ø63 mm at 300 mm/s. Power consumption is 0.35 W (0.4 W with an indicator), it features a non-locking push manual override and a slide-lock for safer maintenance, and the coil includes a surge suppressor and an indicator light in certain configurations. With IP67 ingress protection and an operating temperature range of -10 to 50 °C, this 5/2 valve is well suited for compact automation tasks that require quick response and a small footprint, such as directing air to dual actuators in sequencing or clamping cycles.
