SMC VFS2200-5FZ Air Pneumatic Solenoid Valve

SMC VFS2200-5FZ is a 5-port, 2-position pilot-operated pneumatic solenoid valve with a metal-seal main valve and plug-in construction, designed to drive medium- and large-sized cylinders in compact pneumatic systems. It uses a 24 VDC coil and internal pilot, enabling direct actuation without external pilot circuits. The valve is side-ported with Rc-threaded ports and a port size designation of 01 (1/8 inch), intended for manifold configurations without a sub-plate. It is compatible with SMC control units in the VFS2000/3000/4000 family and supports plug-in base piping arrangements. An optional Z version adds a light/surge voltage suppressor for transient protection, and the pilot valve features a non-locking flush push-type manual override for manual operation when necessary. This configuration provides a robust metal-seal main valve in a compact 5-port footprint, making it suitable for distributed valve banks and space-constrained installations in industrial pneumatic systems.
