SMC VGA342-10NA Air Pilot Valve

SMC VGA342-10NA is a compact three-port air-operated valve that uses external pilot air to shift its spool, enabling remote actuation without an electrical coil. This VGA342 device functions as a selector or divider valve in pneumatic circuits, routing input air to one of two output ports under pilot control. The valve is available in port sizes of 1/2, 3/4, or 1 inch with Rc, G, NPT, or NPTF threads, and actuation can be configured as normally open or normally closed. It is designed for external-pilot operation and supports an operating pressure range of 0.2 to 0.9 MPa. The ambient temperature range is -10 to 50°C (no freezing), making it suitable for standard shop air and machine environments. Typical applications include branching or selecting airflow in automation lines, controlling actuators, cylinders, and pneumatic tooling, or sequencing valves in compact manifolds where a dedicated pilot line provides fast, reliable response without electrical interference.
