SMC VQ5301-5W1 Solenoid Valve

SMC VQ5301-5W1 is a 5-port, 2-position directional solenoid valve from the VQ5000 series, designed for plug-in, base-mounted installation. The aluminum spool valve body is paired with HNBR seals, delivering reliable pneumatic switching for clean air or inert gas. The valve accepts coil voltages of 12 or 24 VDC and consumes about 0.95 W, with rapid actuation typical in the tens of milliseconds (metal-seal versions around 20–62 ms, rubber-seal versions around 25–75 ms). It supports an inlet pressure range of 0.10–1.0 MPa and is rated for ambient and fluid temperatures from -10 to 50°C. Flow capacity varies with seal type: metal-seal 2-position configurations provide roughly 2,182–2,782 L/min ANR (Cv ≈ 2.9), while rubber-seal versions reach about 4,148 L/min ANR (Cv ≈ 4.4). The 5-port, 2-position arrangement yields P, A, B, and exhaust ports, enabling direct control of single-acting or double-acting cylinders in compact manifolds and valve islands.
