SMC ZSE1-01-15 Vacuum Switch

SMC ZSE1-01-15 is a compact vacuum switch designed for ZM vacuum systems, delivering a single NPN open-collector output to monitor vacuum levels from 0 to -101 kPa with a 12–24 V DC supply. The unit mounts via Rp1/8 (R1/8) threads for tight installations and offers a fast response time of 5 ms or less, enabling rapid automation decisions in demanding lines. A CN connector variant (ZSE1-01-15CN) is available for plug-in wiring, simplifying panel or machine integration. This vacuum switch is intended for industrial applications such as suction cups, workholding, and packaging lines, where reliable vacuum monitoring feeds PLCs or other control electronics through a straightforward digital interface. In ejector-assisted configurations, brief pressure surges up to 0.5 MPa do not damage the switch, providing robustness in dynamic vacuum environments while maintaining consistent sensing within the 0 to -101 kPa range.
