SMC ZSE10-M5R-A-M Digital Vacuum Pressure Switch

The SMC ZSE10-M5R-A-M is a compact digital vacuum pressure switch designed for precise vacuum sensing and automatic valve control in pneumatic systems. It monitors vacuum pressure from 0 to −101 kPa and provides two selectable open-collector outputs (NPN or PNP) for signaling and valve actuation, with OUT1 as a general-purpose output and OUT2 dedicated to valve control. Powered by 12 to 24 VDC with polarity protection, it draws 40 mA or less and supports a maximum load of 80 mA per output at up to 28 V, with a residual voltage of 2 V or less at that load. The unit features a 3½‑digit red LED display that shows the setpoint with ±2% FS ±1 digit accuracy and ±0.2% FS ±1 digit repeatability at 25°C, and it resolves setpoint changes in 0.1 kPa steps. Response time is 2.5 ms or faster, and an anti-chattering function offers selectable debounce times of 20, 100, 500, 1000, or 2000 ms to stabilize switching in dynamic conditions. Built for robustness, the ZSE10 series includes a proof pressure rating of 500 kPa, supporting reliable operation under transient pressures.
