SONALERT SC628 Buzzer

SC628 is a Sonalert piezo buzzer (SC Series) designed to mount in a 1-1/8" diameter hole on a single-gang wall plate or panel, making it a compact audible alert for control panels and equipment enclosures. It can be wired with screw terminals and uses a standard panel cutout of about 1.13" in diameter, enabling straightforward installation in field or cabinet mounts and compatible with RP-22 single-gang wall plates. It operates from 6 to 28 VDC, drawing about 3 mA at 6 V and up to 18 mA at 28 V, with a typical sound output of 68-80 dB at 2 feet (some listings cite around 85 dB at 3 feet for certain configurations). The SC628 family includes variants such as SC628A (6-28 VAC/VDC, 6-23 mA) and SC628AN (6-28 VAC/VDC, 4-30 mA), as well as the higher-voltage SC110 model (30-120 VAC/VDC) for broader system applications.
