Sonics & Materials H-520 Hand Held Welding Controller

The Sonics & Materials H-520 Hand Held Welding Controller is a compact 20 kHz, 500 W ultrasonic welder designed for portable plastics joining, including spot welding, staking and inserting, powered from a standard 120 V AC supply. The system pairs a CV55 hand gun with a microprocessor‑controlled power supply that offers autotune circuitry, digital amplitude control, and programmable time and/or energy welding modes for precise, repeatable results. A back‑lit LCD display, ultrasonic load meter scale, and a DB9 PLC I/O connector provide real‑time feedback and easy integration with automation. The front end uses a titanium front driver with a 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) diameter and a replaceable flat‑face tip, with standard and custom tips available to suit different joint geometries. A 10‑foot removable RF converter cable is included, and models are offered for 120 V input with the option of 220 V. The H‑520 is designed specifically for handheld operation in manual assembly tasks, delivering controlled ultrasonic energy to join, stake or secure thermoplastics in compact or hard‑to‑reach areas.
