Sony DZ-122 Ball Feeler Switch Sensor Module

SONY DZ-122 Ball Feeler is a replaceable carbide-ball tip contact used as the sensing element in Magnescale DG-series feeler systems for displacement measurement. The DZ-122 uses a Ø2.5 mm carbide ball tip and is mounted with an M2.5 x 0.45 screw. It is specified for DG10B through DG50B configurations and is intended for automatic inspection/measurement on production lines, where a small, wear-resistant contact point supports repeatable contact detection in precision gauging tasks. This DZ-122 tip is part of the Sony/Magnescale feeler family and is designed to be swapped in to extend tip life in demanding manufacturing environments.
