The Magnescale MJ100/MJ110 High‑Response Speed Interpolator Unit is a modular, one‑axis interpolator designed for fast, precise position control in automated systems. The MJ100 version operates from 4.5–6 V DC, while the MJ110 accepts 11–31 V DC, and both provide A/B quadrature outputs with a RS‑422 differential line driver, plus a Z index output; the MJ100 also includes U/V/W phase outputs for Digiruler‑style signaling. It can be mounted with PL25 head units and SL110 or SL130 scale units, or with PL60 head and SL331 scale, enabling reproduced Digiruler signals at a 5 mm pitch with PL25 or 2 mm pitch with PL60. The interpolator supports high‑speed operation with a maximum response frequency of up to 1000 divisions per second and offers alarms such as a speed alarm (triggered by minimum phase‑difference time or maximum response frequency) and a level alarm (0.4 Vp‑p or less), with startup time typically under 0.5 seconds after power is applied. Its modular design accommodates multi‑axis configurations when multiple MJ100/MJ110 units are used together, making it well suited for precision motion control in industrial automation environments where rapid, accurate interpolation of encoder signals is required.
