Description:
Spectrum 1756SC-IF8H is an eight-channel, HART-enabled ControlLogix analog input module that reads voltage and current signals from field devices through eight differential inputs, with a built-in HART modem per module. It supports input ranges of -10 to +10 V, 0 to 20 mA, and 4 to 20 mA, and offers 16 to 21-bit resolution depending on configuration. The module provides robust noise rejection with normal-mode >80 dB and common-mode >100 dB at 50/60 Hz, and it includes overvoltage protection of up to 30 V DC on voltage inputs and 8 V DC on current inputs. Calibrated accuracy is better than 0.05% of range for voltage and 0.15% of range for current, with a calibration interval of 12 months, and an open-circuit detection time of full-scale within 5 seconds. Backplane power is 4.77 W total, drawn from a 5.1 V DC/300 mA and 24 V DC/135 mA supply arrangement. These eight differential channels are suited for interfacing with HART-enabled transmitters in process control or automation applications, enabling simultaneous transmitter communication while delivering precise measurements to the ControlLogix controller.
