Spectrum 1756SC-IF8U Universal Analog Input Module provides eight channels of universal analog input for ControlLogix 1756 I/O backplanes, enabling a single card to handle voltage, current, thermocouple, and RTD/resistance signals. Each channel is isolated from the backplane and from other channels, delivering improved noise immunity in mixed-signal environments. The module employs a Sigma-Delta A/D conversion method with a low-pass digital filter and programmable notch frequencies to tailor signal conditioning across inputs. It is designed exclusively for ControlLogix 1756 racks and occupies any I/O module slot in the chassis. Backplane power consumption ranges up to 3.00 W maximum (0.6 W at 5 VDC and 2.4 W at 24 VDC), with a backplane current of up to 230 mA on 5 V and 75 mA on 24 V. Eight channels of voltage, current, thermocouple and RTD/resistance input provide a flexible solution for applications requiring mixed analog input.
