Description:
Spectrum 1769-SC-IF8U is an 8-channel universal analog input module designed for CompactLogix 1769 I/O backplanes, offered in a conformal-coated variant to withstand harsher environments. Each channel can be configured for voltage, current, RTD, or thermocouple inputs, with eight differential or single-ended channels that plug into a 1769 Compact I/O backplane for CompactLogix controllers. Normal operating ranges include voltage inputs of -10 to +10 V, 0 to 10 V, 0 to 5 V, and 1 to 5 V, and current inputs of 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA, while full-scale ranges extend to ±10.5 V or 0 to 10.5 V for voltage and 0 to 21 mA (or 3.2 to 21 mA) for current. Input impedance is typically 220 kΩ for voltage terminals and 250 Ω for current terminals, and overall accuracy is specified as ±0.2% FS for voltage and ±0.35% FS for current at 25 °C. Isolation and protection features include channel-to-rack isolation of 707 VDC for 1 minute, continuous over-voltage protection to ±30 VDC, and over-current protection to ±40 mA DC, supporting reliable operation in mixed-signal environments.
