Spectrum 1769SC-IF4IH Analog Input Module
Spectrum 1769SC-IF4IH Analog Input Module
Description:
The Spectrum 1769SC-IF4IH is a four-channel isolated HART analog input module for CompactLogix/1769 Compact I/O, designed to add precise analog sensing to a PLC while enabling two-wire HART communications from field transmitters. It provides four isolated analog input channels and supports HART-enabled sensors, delivering standard analog measurements in parallel with digital transmitter data conveyed over the HART protocol. The module is suitable for local or remote I/O configurations and is compatible with CompactLogix controllers and, per Spectrum Controls documentation, MicroLogix 1500 systems as well. Configuration and integration occur through the standard Rockwell Automation software (Studio 5000/RSLogix) with backplane communication to the controller. HART data, when enabled, is acquired asynchronously from the primary analog conversion and exposed to the controller as PV/SV/TV values, enabling real-time transmitter diagnostics without extra wiring. An optional conformally coated variant, the 1769sc-IF4IHK, offers environmental protection for harsh settings. By combining four input channels with isolated signaling and built-in HART, the 1769SC-IF4IH supports both traditional 4–20 mA sensors and HART transmitters, simplifying field wiring and improving data density on CompactLogix networks.
