Spectrum 5069-IV16F-SC Digital Input Module
Spectrum 5069-IV16F-SC Digital Input Module
Description:
Spectrum Controls’ 5069-IV16F-SC is a 16‑channel, 24V DC high‑speed sourcing input module designed for Allen‑Bradley CompactLogix 5069 systems. Each of the 16 inputs accepts a 24V DC discrete signal and draws about 5 mA per channel, for a total module current up to 80 mA and up to 4 W of power consumption; the supply range is 18–32 VDC, with sensor/actuator power passthrough available up to 9.55 A at that range. The SC variant uses a standard 18‑pin removable terminal block for screw‑terminal wiring, with the option of a spring‑terminal alternative (RTB18). Configuration and wiring are performed in Studio 5000 / Logix Designer, and the module drops into a 5069 I/O chassis to read digital inputs from field devices. Typical applications include monitoring 24V field signals from pushbuttons, limit switches, and proximity sensors on manufacturing lines, packaging equipment, and process automation. As part of Spectrum Controls’ 5069 IO family, this module provides a compact, 16‑point digital input solution that integrates with AB’s CompactLogix 5069 ecosystem.
