Square D 8030HIM-102 Input Module

Square D 8030HIM-102 Input Module is a six-point isolated input module for the Square D Sy/Max 8030 modular PLC family. It provides six independent input points that accept 120 VAC or 120 VDC signals and is designed to be mounted in a standard 8030 rack alongside other Sy/Max modules. The front panel includes LED indicators to show which points are powered or active, aiding field-wiring diagnostics. Although no longer manufactured by Square D, the 8030-HIM-102 remains available from third-party distributors and in surplus stock, making it a common choice for retrofits or repairs of legacy 8030 systems. In operation, it interfaces with the Sy/Max controller via the 8030 backplane to convey the state of field devices such as pushbuttons, switches, or sensors to the control logic.
