Square D 8501 DW-20 AC Control Relay

Square D 8501 DW-20 AC Control Relay is a NEMA 4–rated enclosed relay assembly from Square D, designed for rugged industrial environments where weatherproof protection and reliable control are essential. The unit uses a control coil rated for 110/120 VAC at 50/60 Hz, enabling straightforward integration with standard North American control circuits. As part of the Square D 8501 family of NEMA‑style relays, it is intended to switch AC control circuits in industrial equipment and processes, providing robust operation in challenging conditions. The NEMA 4 enclosure protects the relay’s coil and contacts from dust, water spray, and washdown, making it suitable for outdoor installations or harsh indoor environments. This DW-20 variant is marketed as an AC control relay within the 8501 lineup, aligning with other enclosed 8501 configurations used to control auxiliary loads in industrial control systems.
