Square D CRM570 SyMax Network Interface Module

Square D 8030-CRM570 SyMax Network Interface Module (CRM570) is a MODBUS gateway that links a SY/MAX processor to a SY/MAX network, enabling Modbus communications across the Sy/Net network. It can connect 1 to 199 SY/MAX devices to a single processor and operates in three modes—Sy/Max, Application 2, and Application 3—providing configuration options for different device types and network topologies. Rear-panel switches let you set the network baud rate, the COMM port operating mode, the COMM port baud rate, and enable features such as broadcast receive and self-test, plus a network size selection. The CRM570 enables host computers or other Modbus-enabled devices to read from and write to SY/MAX programmable controllers or D-LOG Data Controller Modules, integrating SY/MAX with Modbus environments. As part of the SY/MAX Class 8030 family, this module is designed to mount in a SY/MAX rack and serve as the gateway between a SY/MAX processor and the SY/NET network, expanding remote I/O connectivity and interoperability in industrial control systems.
