Star Micronics TSP143IIIU is an 80mm direct-thermal receipt printer with an auto cutter, engineered for fast, reliable POS printing in retail and hospitality. It delivers up to 250 mm per second at 203 dpi using Star Graphic emulation and supports 80 mm or 58 mm receipts, with paper thickness between 0.053 and 0.085 mm and a maximum roll diameter of 83 mm. The USB model includes a USB cable and a starter roll of paper, and its USB interface enables iOS devices (Lightning data and charge) to connect alongside host systems for seamless counter setups. The guillotine-style auto cutter provides partial cuts with a rated life of up to 2 million cuts, while the print head is rated for about 60 million lines; operation runs on 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
