Stegmann DG60D 1250 Puls Rev Incremental Rotary Encoder
Stegmann DG60D 1250 Puls Rev Incremental Rotary Encoder
Description:
Stegmann DG 60 D is a compact incremental optical encoder designed for precise rotary feedback in automation and motion‑control systems. It features a solid D‑shaft (Ø 10 mm) and accepts either a synchro flange or a clamping flange for flexible mounting. Rated for up to 6,000 rpm with a seal (10,000 rpm without), it can handle demanding drive applications, and it operates from a 4–6 V DC supply with TTL/RS‑422 compatible A, /A, B, /B, Z, /Z outputs. The signal phase is 90° electrical between A and B, and a single Z (reference) output provides one pulse per revolution. The device offers a resolution of 100 PPR and a maximum TTL output frequency of up to 300 kHz, making it suitable for real‑time speed and position sensing. Built for harsh environments, the DG 60 D carries IP67 protection on the housing and IP65 on the flange, with an operating temperature range of −20 to +85 °C. In practice, it serves as a rugged feedback sensor in motor control, CNC machinery, robotics, and automated materials handling where reliable incremental position data is required.
