StoneL MQ2VE2R Quartz Limit Switch

StoneL MQ2VE2R Quartz Limit Switch is a rotary valve-position indicator designed for monitoring automated on/off valves in harsh process environments. As part of the Quartz limit switch family, it uses a quartz sensing platform and offers versatile switching and communication options to fit control schemes. The MQ2VE2R can be configured with 2, 4, or 6 mechanical or proximity switches, with or without position transmitters, and supports multiple network interfaces such as 4-20 mA outputs, AS-Interface, or DeviceNet depending on configuration. Enclosures are available in QX (Explosion-proof), QN (Nonincendive), QC (Low temperature), and QG (General purpose); the QG option provides a Lexan cover and is rated for NEMA 4, 4X, and 6. The unit includes a visual indication system with LEDs: green shows the valve is open and the controller is responding, while red shows the valve is closed. Shaft protection features include top inner and bottom outer O-rings sealing the drive bushing from external corrosives, plus an oil-impregnated bronze bushing for smooth operation; it can be mounted on quarter-turn actuators and similar operator assemblies. Operating temperature ranges from -55°C to +80°C, and materials typically involve epoxy-coated anodized aluminum, with an optional 316 stainless steel enclosure for extra corrosion resistance.
