Stratus Technologies AA-D92130-P Controller I Module

Stratus AA-D92130-P Controller I Module is a RAID controller module designed for Stratus ftScalable storage systems, shipped as a CRU (customer replaceable unit) with 512MB of cache to accelerate disk I/O in Stratus AA-D91930 enclosures. This Controller I Module plugs into the storage backplane to manage RAID configurations and data protection across attached drives, delivering faster rebuilds and improved read/write performance for enterprise workloads. It is a key component of Stratus’ modular ftScalable architecture, enabling rapid serviceability and minimal downtime by swapping only the controller module rather than the entire enclosure. Typical applications within ftScalable deployments include database-backed storage, virtualized environments, and centralized data repositories where reliable, maintainable RAID controller performance is essential. The AA-D92130-P designation identifies the 512MB-cache RAID controller associated with the AA-D91930 enclosure, aligning with Stratus’ documented CRU parts and modular storage approach.
