Stromag IBV-36-IM Eddy Current Brake

The Stromag IBV-36-IM is a high-dynamic, non-contact eddy-current brake designed for demanding drawworks and other heavy-load systems in oil and gas applications, including draw works on oil rigs. It accepts 100 V DC input at 3.10 A, delivering continuous braking with torque adjustable by electrical current, and it is air-cooled only for rugged field performance. Key physicals include a 1503 mm brake diameter, a maximum operating speed of 350 rpm, and a dynamic braking torque up to 70,000 Nm, making it well-suited for rapid deceleration and precise drum control on draw works.
