Subaki TGX20-H Slip Clutch

Subaki TGX20-H Slip Clutch, a member of the Shock Guard TGX Series, is a mechanical overload protection device that permits controlled slipping to shield drive trains when torque exceeds the set limit. It uses a drive-ball/slip mechanism to decouple and protect motors and gearboxes at the preset torque, enabling rapid, safe shutdown of excess torque. The TGX20-H provides a set torque range of 25 to 68 N·m (approximately 18.8–50.0 ft-lb) with a maximum operating speed of 1,100 rpm, and accommodates shaft bores from 10 to 25 mm. Its mounting envelope includes A = 64 mm, G = 86 mm, H (PCD) = 74 mm, and J (PCD) = 50 mm, with mounting screws Q = M5 x 8 and U = M4 x 7. Weighing about 1.67 kg (3.70 lb), this unit is suited for applications where precise torque limiting and overload protection are critical, such as conveyors, packaging equipment, or drive lines requiring protection of motors and gearboxes from torque spikes.
